Local Joints TV takes a few minutes to chat with Russ Tychsen, the owner of RSVP Publications, Utah!
I had a great time when I sat down with Russ Tychsen, owner of RSVP Publications, Utah to discuss his business.
RSVP Publications is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah and they work with their clients to generate an ad that will go inside a mailing program that gets sent to affluent owner occupied homes… they call this “Direct Mail to the Upscale”.
Russ purchased the RSVP Publications franchise back in 2000 after using the program for his own construction business and seeing what awesome results he had from it. He was looking for an advertising method where he could hit a specific demographic, and was more upscale than what was available at the time. Obviously it worked well for Russ and his construction company since he decided to purchase the RSVP Publications franchise!
The RSVP product is a deck of postcards that gets mailed out to targeted homeowners, featuring many local businesses from construction companies to restaurants.
With RSVP Advertisers are given an exclusive contract where they are the only business featured in the particular category of their business, so advertisers are not mailing out with their competition.
RSVP Publications has two mailing areas here in Utah. The North zone covers Weber and Davis county, and the South zone covers Salt Lake, Summit County, Wasatch and Northern Utah County and each zone covers over 40,000 homeowners.
